FLORA International Flower Festival

FLORA invites you to discover the captivating, delicate art of contemporary floral installations in Córdoba (Spain).

FLORA International Flower Festival provides international floral artists with the opportunity to transform the different courtyards into startlingly original floral displays in well-known buildings round Córdoba. These official courtyards are sponsored by Córdoba City Council (Spain) and other organisations and present a fascinating mixture of memories, art, culture and heritage. These short-lived floral installations can be visited for free.

The artists do a retake on the traditional Cordovan courtyard theme, from widely diverse angles, cultural factors and contexts, to show us our heritage from a novel viewpoint. The FLORA International Flower Festival provides a sharp cultural contrast between the traditional domain of the Cordovan courtyards and the avant-garde, contemporary art of the floral installations: a light-hearted dialogue between tradition and innovation.
