Caravaggio Tableaux Vivants is an international live tableaux/theatre show based on the pictorial work of Michelangelo Merisi (Caravaggio), by the Italian company “Ludovica Rambelli Teatro-Tableaux Vivants”, directed by Dora De Mario.

Before the eyes of the public, Caravaggio canvases are created with the bodies of the actors and the help of everyday objects and draped fabrics. A single cut of light illuminates the scene as if it were framed in an imaginary frame. All changes are visible, rhythmically marked by the music of Mozart, Bach, Vivaldi, Sibelius.
