Yeguada Ramírez
Visit the Finca El Carmen, a real nineteenth century Cordoban farmhouse located next to Medina Azahara, with stunning views of the hills and the Monastery of San Jeronimo. Here, the Ramirez Stud Farm has stood for over a quarter of a century, producing horses which compete at the highest international level. Proof of this are the bronze and silver medals obtained in the dressage discipline at the 2010 and 2011 International Horse Shows (SICAB), respectively.
Here you can learn about the history of the Andalusian horse, which is closely linked to this area, and see how they look after, breed and train the PRE (Purebred Spanish Horse), as well as seeing the different types and breeds of racing horses, types of horse carriage with different fittings (gear) and all the details of the fascinating world of horses, right there in their natural habitat.
