El Balcón del Río
Near the River Guadalquivir, this garden, designed by the architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg, serves as a vantage point over the river. The contemporary style of the benches and other furniture contrasts with the traditional image of old Cordoba, a contrast which creates an exceptionally beautiful effect. The benches allow the public to sit and admire the view, while at the same time helping to put across the idea that the river, too, is a part of our monumental heritage.
