The Plaza de la Almagra fountain is located at the confluence of three streets: Gutiérrez de los Ríos, Escultor Juan de Mesa and Calle del Socorro. The circular central platform is paved with pebbles which form the shape of a star. Above this, a cast-iron fountain with four spouts (inspired by the fountain in the Rambla de Canaletas in Barcelona) is topped with four traditional street lamps.
