The Cordoba Local Tourist Board achieves its objectives and carries out its functions through the following areas:
Area for Information and Attending the Public. This area runs the four tourist information offices which are open to the public in the city, as well as providing a telephone information service and answering requests for information or materials by e-mail or by post. It also compiles studies and projects giving information to visitors and attending the public. informacion@turismodecordoba.org
Promotion Area.. This area is responsible for promoting tourism in the city, attending trade fairs, conferences and promotion workshops, as well as developing marketing plans for products and communication plans. promocion@turismodecordoba.org
Area for Congresses.. This area, newly created in 2009, is responsible for developing the Cordoba Convention Bureau Programme, whose aim is to promote Cordoba as a destination for meetings tourism (congresses, conventions and incentives), to take steps to attract people to hold events in Cordoba and to lend support to those holding and organizing these events in the city. congresos@turismodecordoba.org
Product and Management Area. This area is responsible for handling the Local Tourist Board’s finances and budget. In addition, it develops and continuously monitors how well the promotional tourist services, set up by the Local Tourist Board, are working. gestion@turismodecordoba.org
Administration and Infrastructure Area. This area is in charge of the Local Tourist Board’s supplies, equipment and infrastructure, managing the warehouse, dealing with suppliers, the management’s secretarial staff, co-ordinating work-related social affairs, printing, creating and managing data bases, and managing caretaking staff for the premises run by the Local Tourist Board.

Analysis and RDI Area. This department is responsible for co-ordinating the city’s Tourist Observatory, and implementing the Integrated System of Quality in Tourist Destinations (SICTED). Reports are drawn up on a regular basis about the state of what is on offer to tourists in the city, which are then passed on to other sectors, municipal companies and other areas of government where any failings which come to light can be put right. Series of talks and debates about tourism in the city are also organised by this Area. calidad@turismodecordoba.org
