Hotel Casa de los Azulejos
The Casa de los Azulejos hotel is a house located in the neighborhood of Plaza de la Corredera. It is a stimulus for the senses and an exercise in colonial recreation. In 1934, a definitive renovation was added to its foundations of underground vaults from the 17th century, until it adopted a typically Sevillian character. Its adaptation for a hotel in 2002 reinforced its colonial character with colours, plants and Andalusian hospitality.
Around the leafy patio runs the life of the hotel, watchword of name and philosophy, covered with tiles from the Mensaque factory in Seville. On the main floor, marble and wrought iron find the embrace of palm trees, banana trees and clivias, mixed with the wonderful vault of the four elements of the main staircase. In the bedrooms, the colonial style creates original and very comfortable spaces. The large windows, the handcrafted wrought iron and hardwood furniture, the hydraulic flooring, the old glass doors in the corridor and the main balustrade are combined with the most modern facilities. The bedrooms celebrate the meeting of cultures with contention but always ready to show a surprise: a family chest of drawers, a piece with history, a fireplace rescued from the original building... Tropical colors and Andalusian flavor. Indigos, red lands, amplitude, personality, tradition and contemporary signs.
