The Antonio Gala Foundation for Young Creative Artists offers the chance to visit the permanent exhibition Memories of Antonio Gala, which can be found in the main building, which was formerly the Chapter House of the Corpus Christi convent. Before accessing the permanent exhibition, the visitor passes through the façade of the old Corpus Christi church, with a portico featuring 17th century frescoes and a stunning Roman mosaic in the former chapel, which is now an auditorium. The exhibition covers the life and professional career of writer Antonio Gala, with first editions of his work, unpublished manuscripts, interviews, photographs, awards and the author’s personal effects on display.
Visitors to the exhibition can also view an audio-visual presentation, as well as panels showing all the works published by Antonio Gala. The exhibition panels are accompanied by quotes from Antonio Gala himself, so in a way, visitors are guided around the exhibition by the author himself.
